There seems to be an ever-increasing risk these days of your kids finding inappropriate content while browsing the Internet, or even while they are using your own computer.

KidDesktop is a Windows application to create a safe desktop environment especially designed for kids and including only the content you know is appropriate for them.

The desktop starts off being empty. You, as the administrator, have to add the resources that will be visible to each user from the control panel.

Once you add content, each kid can access his or her own account, where the desktop will only include the items you chose as administrator.

KidDesktop is an excellent way of teaching kids how to use new technologies without putting them at risk of coming across sensitive material.
